FOX is a red and white rough coated dog ,he is 5 yo old ,loves everyone and is a talented sheepdog trialing dog ,he was born in Ireland and We bought him at 7 weeks old ,his dad won the International supreme sheepdog trials ,   fox was a very clever pup from the outset and was good to train ,never happier than working the sheep. fox is busy competing open sheepdog trials now       

GOE is a 7 years old medium coated black and white dog with plenty of scope an presence. He is one of our regular open trial dogs and goes (excuse the pun) about his work with a tireless panache and enthusiasm. Once seen never forgotten!   News update ... goe has competed in  2 english national sheepdog trial competitions.  news update .. ..he has a young son" faelin " who has just been made up to full SEARCH AND RESCUE DOG  for  s.a.r.d.a.. scotland  

SMIT   A seven year old dog who we love dearly. bred in cumbria ,He is one of our larger dogs and has a fantastic personality and given half the chance will lick you to death or give you a big hug !.smit has one other passion in his life swimming,  He is such a clown and we just know you will take to him immediately. Smit is the top dog here for working the high mountains around seathwaite gathering in the native herdwick sheep . he has power and endurance. and a big personality.

SWEEP is a brilliant softie with such a pretty face. He is 7years old   he was born in Scotland and competed in the Scottish National sheepdog trials ,sweep is a good dog on the fell gatherings and he is brave on the crags but gentle with lambs he is a truly loyal friend and such a nice personality

I'm sure you will love meeting sweep  ,as  sweep loves meeting people .                                     

mac  three year old ,welsh bred boy who has just won his stripes as a full member of the team ,he is an extremely popular dog ,you will like mac as he is such a good listener who takes very quiet commands, mac has a very happy go lucky temperament . and very big on affection , everyone wants to take him home with them .

SKYE  is the matriarch of our pack  ," known as mrs know all " she knows a better and faster way to do things   getting on in years now , but she is still fit an fast , she came to us at 7 weeks old , was born an bred in south Ayrshire Scotland- her years of experience makes her a fantastic  lambing dog, In her younger days she worked the high fells  and mountains around seathwaite being a great dog for gathering sheep from the crags and steep slopes .. always ready to lend a hand .   

     we and all the sheepdogs send xmas good cheer and good luck for 2010 to all the great people we have met at the farm in 2009  and we look forward to meeting lots of new faces in 2010

     EDEN    a tri-colour  rough coat ,homebred daughter of" fox"      now 14 months old ,                                                                              she is showing style  and  natural balance, she is doing very well in her training sessions ,she has learnt her come- bye  and away's [  left /right]  she will stop when asked too, she has just started to cross drive and comes back to handler when asked ,    she is a very clever youngster and maybe next year she will be good enough to be in our sheepdog experience team  updated july - she is now doing small outruns at distance   and moving the sheep through a gate , what a good girl !
